LOVE SERMON – with Clementine Ford & Libby O’Donovan

May 8 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

I think we place too much emphasis and primacy on romantic love as being the only kind of love that matters … there’s so many different kinds of love that get us through our lives. – Clementine Ford
Unrequited romance. Deep friendship. Motherhood. Break-ups. Self-love. Join writer Clementine Ford and her bestie, performer Libby O’Donovan, as they deliver a secular sermon that mines matters of the heart.
*** BOOK NOW ***
For several years writer and broadcaster Clementine Ford has made her name as one of Australia’s most provocative feminists, making public appearances and writing columns that were branded as angry and ‘man-hating.’ But following a challenging beginning to motherhood and a relationship break-up she began to tire of the endless controversy and hostility.
Her latest book, How we Love: Notes on a Life, explores romantic, platonic and familial love, in all its joy and heartache, strength and vulnerability. Joining her as musical guest for this pursuit of human connection, is critically acclaimed Jazz and Cabaret performer Libby O’Donovan.
Love Sermon was originally created for and performed at Sydney Opera House’s All About Women Festival.
